Christmas Mini-Sessions with TouchOfABow, West Sussex

Lauren from TouchOfABow and I first met through social media, like all good relationships do these days!

She provided some props for an engagement party I photographed back in the summer. When I asked if she'd like to collaborate and use her fantastic igloo for Christmas mini-sessions, she was thrilled at the idea!

I chose The Fox Inn, Patching as the location as I knew they had a large Marquee which would not be used in the winter months. After the year of isolation which we have all suffered, I wanted to make a safe, warm, fun space which screamed Christmas!

We had mulled wine, hot chocolate, mince pies and some stalls with local businesses selling their wares. We were able to use the sound system to fill the Marquee with Christmas music (which I was definitely a little over by the 2nd day)

I'd never ran mini-sessions before, and as I am predominantly a wedding photographer I was a bit nervous how they would pan out as my audience is mainly engaged couples. Nevertheless, with the help of sharing and promotion from Lauren, we sold out Sundays slots and Monday had quite a few too.

In the end I did 18 mini sessions over 2 days, which was plenty to try and edit and deliver in time for Christmas!!

The mini-sessions turned out fantastic and I am already excited to run then again next year, even bigger, even better and more Christmas.
